Q1 Is it possible to have a facility tour?
A1 We can accommodate a tour request.  Please contact us for further arrangement.
Q2 We like send invitations to events. Is it possible to accept our offer?
A2 We gladly accept the invitations.  We need to confirm the contents of the events to ensure our children’s safety, so please contact us first for further arrangement.
Q3 What can we do if the children we take under our care get an injury?
A3 Please notify us immediately and we will let you know to how to obtain the necessary cares.  We are responsible for the medical cost.
Q4 As a volunteer, with my skills and hobbies, I would like to create opportunities and experiences children can enjoy.  Is this a kind of offer you can accept?
A4 We would like to know more about the activities, so please contact us for further arrangement.
Q5 I don’t have special skills, but I would like to be a volunteer for your children.  Is there anything I can do?
A5 Thank you for your offer.  There are many aspects within our organization where you could offer your support for.  We like to know more as to what you are interested, so please contact us first for further arrangement.

Work Experiences

Q1 What are the children who are looking for this opportunity?
A1 They are from 1st grade junior high school to the 3rd grade high school.  Any information about the individual children will be provided to each workplace in advance if they can be accepted by the personnel from the workplaces.
Q2 What types of work experiences should we offer?
A2 We hope that this experience will help them to prepare their independency.  Needs of our children vary, but we hope they will learn necessary communication skills through work and experience what it’s like to make an achievement in a workplace.

Friend Home

Q1 What types of children will be placed?
A1 We will consult with Friend Home first prior to any communications with the children.  After the consultation, we will ask Friend Home to visit our facilities about two times to meet the children before we start placing them with Friend Home.  For any concerns, please contact us.
Q2 What size of houses do you expect as Friend Home?
A2 At least two rooms with 10 tatami mats (18 square meters).  We hope the house to be an appropriate size for the number of the household.
Q3  I am a single parent, but can I be a Friend Home?
A3 Yes, you can.  However, you need another family member, who is over 20 years old, living with you in the house.
Q4 If we become Friend House, do we need to take children to places?
A4 We think it’s important children experience regular daily lives, so please do what you normally do in your household.

Donations

Q1 We have some playground equipment we like to donate.  What can I do?
A1 We basically accept these donations, however, due to the size and safety, there is a possibility we may not be able to accept them.  Please contact us first for further arrangement.
Q2 How is the donated money used?  Do you share reports as to how the money is spent?
A2 We use donated money to run the facility and for our children.  We normally report these activities through our website, newsletter and individual letters.
