Please support the dreams of our children.

Our children at Tsukuba Aijien have dreams they hope to come true.

Our children at our facility left behind their homes, families, schools, friends and their pets and they are not able to meet or be together with them whenever they wish. They are not able to go shopping with their mother, cook together, take a bath together, or sleep in the same room together. They are not able to have normal family lives. The dream the children have is to lead a normal family life, which is to regain the lives they used to have before they entered our facility. We hope that we can make their sincere hopes come true. In order for us to make this wish come true, we would need to rent a house near our facility so that our children can be with their family members and have the “normal family life” just for a short period, such as weekends.

By making this dreams come true, we could remove the feelings of isolation/loneliness from our children, which will lead to higher self-esteem for the children. Having a normal life is our “dreams”. To make this happen, we need monetary support to rent a house, buy furniture and need to pay for utility cost. Please help support our children’s dreams.

Support we need

Looking for Daddy-Long-Legs

We are looking for financial support for our children to receive higher educations.
We have children who are capable to enter universities, however have to give up the opportunities due to financial reasons. Since there are very limited financial resources available, it is difficult to move on to higher educations even though they have approved academic skills.

Looking for Workplaces

In preparing our children for the real world, we try to have our children who are junior high and high school students experience being in the real work places. By having experiences in the actual workplaces, they are able to learn communication skills, how to achieve goals and also learn how to overcome challenges they may face. We feel that this will effectively prepare them to choose their future careers.
The career choices our children have all vary and we hope to have as many variety of workplace selections as possible to meet their requests.

Looking for volunteers to support daily lives our children (learning, cleaning, playing & hobbies etc.

We are constantly experiencing shortages of staff since our children have diversified individual needs and necessary cares. By supporting us for some elements of our children’s lives, the time spent will directly impact their lives. We have many varieties of supports we are looking for, so please contact us.

Looking for monetary donation for our operations

To raise our children, support them after they choose their paths and to run the facilities, there are very large expenses. We run our facilities based on the grant money we receive, however it is not enough. We ask for financial support for our operations and they can be used for supporting our children to obtain necessary qualifications for their futures, to support their interests and their higher educations, to arrange better living environment and to increase staffing for our facility. Also, we are looking for donations of goods, such as for playing/recreations, schooling, daily maintenance goods, or invitations to outside events etc, which will all help us and our children and to run our facility.
